Aquaventure World is the waterpark at Atlantis, The Palm, at the tip of Palm Jumeirah, and day visitors pay by height: one price for anyone over 1.2 metres and a lower junior price for anyone shorter. Every ticket price on this page comes from the official Aquaventure World booking site, which the Atlantis website links to for tickets.

How much are Aquaventure tickets?

A Waterpark Day Pass cost AED 310 for an adult and AED 260 for a junior when we checked, and the visitor price was the same on the weekday and the weekend date we tried. Adding the Lost World Aquarium brings it to AED 380 and AED 330. Dollar figures use the fixed rate of AED 3.6725 to USD 1.

Ticket What it covers Adult (over 1.2m) Junior (under 1.2m)
Waterpark Day Pass One day in the waterpark, the private beach and Surf’s Up AED 310 (USD 84.41) AED 260 (USD 70.80)
Day Pass + Lost World Aquarium One entry to each, used within 7 days AED 380 (USD 103.47) AED 330 (USD 89.86)
7-Day Pass Seven full days of the waterpark and Lost World Aquarium AED 530 (USD 144.32) AED 450 (USD 122.53)
Day Pass + Dolphin Encounter A day pass and a dolphin encounter From AED 599 (USD 163.10) See the booking site

Checked 2 November 2026 on the official booking site, for visits in November 2026, including Tuesday 10 and Saturday 14 November. Children aged 2 and under go in free. Prices can change by date, so the calendar for your own day is the final word.

UAE residents who show an Emirates ID at the entrance pay less: AED 245 for an adult and AED 205 for a junior on a weekday, and AED 295 and AED 255 at the weekend. Those resident rates are the low “from” figures printed on the booking calendar, so a visitor’s price is higher than the number you see first. Booking platforms also sell Aquaventure tickets; compare their total with the official price for the same date before you pay.

What does an Aquaventure ticket include?

The Waterpark Day Pass covers a full day in the waterpark, the private beach and the Surf’s Up wave rider at the entrance. It also includes a 30-minute Dolphin Discovery Presentation from the Dolphin Bay beach and lower same-day rates for the dolphin and sea lion experiences. Atlantis says Aquaventure holds the Guinness World Records title of world’s largest waterpark, with more than 105 slides and attractions (Atlantis).

  • Three towers. Neptune Tower has the Leap of Faith body slide and Shark Attack, which runs through the shark lagoon. Poseidon Tower has Poseidon’s Revenge, Aquaconda and Zoomerango. Trident Tower has the record-breaking drops and mat racers.
  • Four kids’ zones. Splashers Lagoon for toddlers, Splashers Island for young children, Splashers Cove for pre-teens, and Splashers Mountain with bigger slides and tipping buckets.
  • Rivers and the beach. Rivers and rapids that link the zones, cliff jumps at Immortal Falls on Trident Tower, and a kilometre of private beach facing the Dubai skyline.

Not included: lockers, towels, the AquaXpress fast pass, cabanas and premium seating, and the Lost World Aquarium unless you buy the combined pass.

Is the Lost Chambers aquarium included?

Only with the combined pass. The Lost Chambers closed in August 2025 for a renovation and reopened on 27 October 2025 as the Lost World Aquarium (Gulf News). Atlantis says it holds more than 65,000 marine animals, opens from 10am to 9pm daily, and lets you stay as long as you like (Atlantis FAQ).

The combined pass gives one entry to each attraction within seven days of your first visit, so you can save the aquarium for an evening after the waterpark closes. The booking site warns that the aquarium uses flashing lights and loud audio, which matters for anyone with photosensitive epilepsy.

What are Aquaventure’s opening hours?

The waterpark opens at 10am every day. The Aquaventure page gives closing time as sunset, while the resort FAQ says 6:30pm (Atlantis FAQ), so check on the day. In November 2026 the sun sets in Dubai at 5:38pm on the 1st and 5:28pm on the 30th (timeanddate.com), which leaves about seven and a half hours in the park from opening. The Lost World Aquarium stays open until 9pm.

What are the height and age rules at Aquaventure?

Height decides both your ticket and your rides. Anyone over 1.2 metres must buy an adult ticket, and some rides are closed to anyone shorter. Children under 1.2 metres buy a junior ticket and have the four Splashers zones, the rivers and the beach.

  • Free entry: children aged 2 and under.
  • Going without an adult: the booking site says unaccompanied guests must be at least 12, while the Atlantis FAQ says 13. Plan on 13 to be safe.
  • Swimwear: swimsuits, rash guards, board shorts and burkinis are fine. Cotton tops, jeans, long trousers, street clothes and see-through fabrics are not.
  • Cameras: no selfie sticks or handheld action cameras on the slides, and a phone only in a waterproof neck pouch.
  • Pregnancy: pregnant guests can enter, but many slides are not recommended.
  • Pushchairs and access: pushchairs are allowed. People of determination with a disability card and their carer get in free, and up to two companions get 50% off.

For what to wear in the rest of the city, see the Dubai dress code guide.

When is the best time to visit Aquaventure?

Go on a weekday and be at the gate for 10am. Visitor prices did not change between weekday and weekend when we checked, but UAE residents paid more on Saturdays and Sundays, which suggests that is when local families go. Because the park closes at sunset, winter days in the park are short, and an early start is what gets you a full day. Summer days are longer, but the heat is hard work; the best time to visit Dubai guide has the temperatures month by month.

How do you get to Aquaventure?

The Palm Monorail is the simplest way without a car. It runs along Palm Jumeirah from Palm Gateway, via Al Ittihad Park and Palm Jumeirah Mall, to the Atlantis Aquaventure station at the waterpark (Palm Monorail).

From Single to Atlantis Aquaventure Return
Palm Gateway AED 20 AED 30
Al Ittihad Park AED 10 AED 15
Palm Jumeirah Mall AED 10 AED 15

Checked 2 November 2026. Children under 5, or under 110 cm tall, ride free.

Trains run every 15 minutes, seven days a week. The first leaves Palm Gateway at 9am, and the last leaves Atlantis at 10pm (train times). The line reopened in July 2026 after about six months closed for station maintenance (Khaleej Times). The Dubai Tram links the metro with the monorail (RTA), and the guide to getting around Dubai explains the tram and nol cards.

By car, Atlantis sends day visitors to the Aquaventure car park: after the tunnel that leads to Atlantis, turn right at the first roundabout, and a shuttle takes you to the Aquaventure Ticketing Plaza.

Can you bring food, and are there lockers?

You cannot bring your own food or drink. Atlantis bans outside food, drinks, glassware and alcohol in the waterpark and may search bags. Inside, Wavehouse pairs burgers and pizza with bowling and two floors of arcade games, Barracudas is an air-conditioned restaurant in the middle of the park, and Grab and Go kiosks sell snacks around the slides (Atlantis).

Small and large lockers are rented by the day at the park entrance or any Guest Services kiosk, and large beach towels are rented the same way. You can also add lockers, meal deals and the AquaXpress fast pass when you book online (booking site). Bring a waterproof neck pouch for your phone and leave everything else in the locker.

Is Aquaventure worth the money?

For a full day with older children or teenagers who will use the three towers, yes. It is not cheap: day passes for two adults and two juniors came to AED 1,140 for a November date. With a toddler, the Splashers zones and the beach are a good day out, but much of the park is off limits below 1.2 metres, and Dubai’s public beaches cost nothing (free things to do in Dubai). If you are staying at Atlantis, entry is included, which changes the sums. For more family ideas, see Dubai with kids.

To see Atlantis from the sea instead, the 2-hour Palm and Atlantis cruise sails from Dubai Marina past Ain Dubai and along the Palm to the resort and back, and the full-day Dubai city tour includes a ride on the Palm Monorail. For the rest of the city, start with things to do in Dubai.

Questions

How much is Aquaventure for a child?

Aquaventure charges by height rather than age. A junior Waterpark Day Pass, for children under 1.2 metres, cost AED 260 on the official booking site for dates in November 2026, against AED 310 for anyone taller. Children aged 2 and under go in free. A child over 1.2 metres pays the adult price, but can then use the rides with a 1.2-metre minimum.

Is the Lost Chambers included in an Aquaventure ticket?

Not in the basic day pass. The Lost Chambers reopened in October 2025 as the Lost World Aquarium, and day visitors need the Waterpark Day Pass + Lost World Aquarium, which cost AED 380 for adults and AED 330 for juniors when we checked on 2 November 2026. Both entries must be used within seven days. The Atlantis FAQ says waterpark ticket holders can add the aquarium for AED 55.

Can I bring my own food into Aquaventure?

No. Atlantis says visitors may not bring food, drinks, glassware or alcohol into the waterpark, and staff may check bags. Inside there are sit-down restaurants, including Wavehouse and the air-conditioned Barracudas, plus Grab and Go kiosks around the park. Meal deals can be added to your ticket when you book online.

Do Atlantis hotel guests get into Aquaventure free?

Yes. Atlantis says waterpark access is complimentary for everyone staying at Atlantis, The Palm, and stays also include the Lost World Aquarium. If you are weighing day passes against a night at the resort, add up both: day passes for two adults and two juniors came to AED 1,140 for a November date when we checked on 2 November 2026.

How do you get to Aquaventure by public transport?

Take the Palm Monorail. It runs from Palm Gateway, at the base of Palm Jumeirah, via Al Ittihad Park and Palm Jumeirah Mall to the Atlantis Aquaventure station, every 15 minutes from 9am. A single from Palm Gateway costs AED 20 and a return AED 30. The RTA says the Dubai Tram links the metro with the monorail.

Is Aquaventure open all year?

Yes. Atlantis lists the waterpark as open daily, and What’s On counted Aquaventure among the attractions that stayed open through summer 2026. Winter is more comfortable for a day outdoors, but the park closes at sunset, so the day is shorter. Check the booking calendar for your date, because some dates can be restricted.
